Tripulse processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To fulfil our responsibilities to you as a user of our web pages, services or products.
- To support you in case of problems with our web pages, services or products.

The legal grounds for us to collect, use, transfer and store personal data
We treat your personal information to:
- fulfil the contract and/or agreement with you, providing our products and services
- comply with legal obligations, for instance keeping records for accounting or VAT reporting to comply with local financial regulation
- cater to the legitimate interests of users, customers and visitors, such as sending information about goods and services users have shown interest in or carrying out analyses
- cater to our own legitimate interests, for instance collecting feedback to improve our products or services or performing analyses, segmentation of users and user data to allocate our resources, change, improve and expand our products and services, as well as to provide accurate size recommendations to avoid unnecessary shipping and handling costs and emissions

Tripulse does not process any sensitive personal data, e.g. health information, religious beliefs etc. Body-related data collected and processed for the purpose of size recommendation is never used for profiling or computed on an individual level and is always aggregated.

When you sign up to our newsletter or accept to receive offers and news via text message (sms) you agree to receive additional digital communication from Tripulse. You will receive for instance updates about the latest news and developments, new products and services, invitations and events, stories and exclusive deals. When you make an order you have the opportunity to actively check the marketing boxes for email and sms so that you will for instance receive information about new products and services, invitations and events, stories and exclusive deals. How long do we store your data?
Your personal data will only be stored as long as there is a need to save them to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Tripulse may save the data longer if necessary to comply with legal requirements or to monitor Tripulse’s legal interests, such as if there is a legal process going on.
If you make a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have any other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial retention periods); in the latter case, the deletion takes place after these reasons no longer apply.
Profiling & third party tools
Profiling can be defined as automated processing of data to analyze or to make predictions about individuals.
Tripulse will process which of our newsletters you interacted with. This information is processed in order to tailor products and services to your interests.
Tripulse will also use profiling of personal data to understand customer demographics and behaviour in order to identify and market our products and services to new user groups.
You may at any time object to the processing of personal data through profiling. Please do this by emailing Tripulse’s privacy contact at privacy@tripulse.co. Once Tripulse has received your notification, Tripulse will cease processing your personal information for this purpose.

When you visit this website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This is mainly done with so-called analytics tools.
Overview of third-party tools we use
Google Analytics
Data stored by Google at user-level and event-level associated with cookies, user-identifiers (e.g., User-ID) and advertising identifiers (e.g., DoubleClick cookies, Android’s Advertising ID, Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers) are anonymized after 26 months or deleted. Shopify
Shopify is the platform that hosts our web shop and the system we use for fulfilling orders. We store information about Tripulse customers inside Shopify. This includes order history, name, delivery address, billing address, phone number, email address, notes added to an order by the customer, and information about abandoned carts.
Active Campaign
Active Campaign is a customer experience automation platform. We use Active Campaign for email marketing and as a chat tool on our website.
For email marketing: When a user signs up to direct marketing from Tripulse, we store the email address, past order history, name of the subscriber, geographical location, and information about interaction with email campaigns, such as opening and clicking on links, in Active Campaign.
For chat on our website: When a user writes a message in the chat box, the message including the device type gets stored. The user also has the chance to leave its email address in case s(he) doesn't get an answer immediately and so that we can get back to the user later on via email.
Convertful
Convertful is a tool used for capturing a users email address for the newsletter and other forms of direct marketing, or for conducting visitor surveys. Convertful does store information that is submitted through until submitted to the integrations and no longer than 7 days. Data from Convertful is automatically passed into Active Campaign.
Helpfulcrowd
Helpfulcrowd is used to help us gather reviews for our products on our website. By submitting the review form on our product page you agree to the Helpfulcrowd privacy policy and agree that your content and your name may be published online according to their privacy policy. You can find their privacy policy here: https://www.helpfulcrowd.com/privacy-policy/ . When you have made an order from our webshop, you will also receive emails from Tripulse via Helpfulcrowd asking you to leave reviews. In order to do that, Helpfulcrowd has access to certain personally identifiable customer information including names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, geolocations, IP addresses and browser user agents.
Facebook Pixel
Facebook Pixel contains personally non-identifiable data about visitors to Tripulse.co, including what pages the user has visited, products inside the shopping cart and checked out products. This anonymous data can be used for targeted advertising on Facebook. A user can prevent the Facebook Pixel from tracking their behavior by not agreeing to cookies, removing Facebook cookies from their browser or by using an ad-blocker in their browser.
Zapier
Zapier is an integration tool that is used for connecting different e-commerce and marketing systems. For example, when a user signs up to our newsletter, the email address is passed from Shopify to Activecampaign. In order to process this request, Zapier does collect the information passing through it for a temporary of 90 days after which it is automatically removed.
Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace for email communications with our customers, and file storage.
Who do we transfer personal data to?
Tripulse may disclose your information to third parties in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Such transfers information may include, but is not limited to:
- Transfer of name, address, phone number and email to logistics partners to deliver your order
- Transfer of name, address, phone number, email to CRM tools such as ActiveCampaign in order to provide customer support, send transactional or marketing emails
- Transfer name and email address to event organisers who need the data to identify or invite the user to an event.
Third party which Tripulse discloses information to or otherwise provides information about a user, account holder or customer may use the information only for the purposes of selling and marketing Tripulse’s services and products or for the purpose of providing services related to Tripulse’s agreement with you as a user, account holder or customer.
Personal data may also be disclosed by Tripulse if it is necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements or government requirements, to safeguard Tripulse’s legal interests or to detect and prevent fraud and other security or technical issues.
Tripulse may transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU / EEA, if any of Tripulse’s suppliers or partners are located there. If personal data is transferred to any country outside the EU / EEA, Tripulse will take steps to ensure that personal data remain protected and also take the necessary steps to legally transfer personal data to non-EU / EEA countries.
We reserve the right to disclose and transfer personal information about customers and subscribers to a buyer in the eventual sale of parts of or the entirety of the company Tripulse Fitness AB.
Changes to the privacy policy
Tripulse has the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time. Tripulse will notify you of any substantial changes to the Privacy Policy by email. The date of the latest version is also visible at the top of this policy. You can terminate the agreement by contacting Tripulse at privacy@tripulse.co at any time.
The protection of your personal data
You should always be able to feel comfortable when you submit your personal information to us.
Tripulse has therefore taken the security measures needed to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, change and deletion. For example, our hosting platform Shopify is protected by permission management and is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, ensuring the highest level of security standards and a secure environment regarding the accepting, processing, storing and transmitting of credit card information.
When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. An absolute complete protection of unauthorized data access or breaches by third parties can therefore not be guaranteed.
Your rights
Tripulse will, at your request or on its own initiative, rectify, disassociate, delete or supplement information that is found to be incorrect, incomplete or misleading.
You are entitled to request:
- Access to your personal data. You have the right to request access to the personal data we store about you. We aim to always be transparent with how we process your personal data. If you want to gain a deeper insight into what personal data we process about you, you have the right to access that information.
- Correction of your personal data. You have the right to get your personal data corrected if it is wrongfully stated. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed if it is incomplete.
- Deletion of your personal data. This means that you are entitled to request that your personal data be removed if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. However, there may be legal requirements that we can not immediately delete your personal data in, for example, accounting and tax laws. We will then end the processing done for purposes other than complying with the legislation.
- Restriction of processing of your personal data. This means that under certain circumstances you have the right to request that personal data we process should be restricted and that future processing is limited to certain purposes. These circumstances include for instance that you contest the accuracy of your personal data and we are verifying that accuracy
- Portability of your personal data. It implies the right to, under certain conditions, extract and transfer your personal data in a structured, widely used, and machine-readable format to another data controller.
- You are entitled to object to personal data processing in certain circumstances.If you object to such processing, we will only continue treatment if there are legitimate reasons for treatment that weigh heavier than your interests.
- If you do not wish to process your personal data for direct marketing, you are always entitled to object to such treatment by sending an email to privacy@tripulse.co. Once we have received your objection, we will cease processing your personal data for such marketing purposes and latest after one month of receiving your request.
- Issuing a request. To enforce any of the above rights, please send an email to privacy@tripulse.co . We will respond to any of the above requests without delay and comply with the request within one calendar month unless the request is complex or we have received a number of requests from you. If you wish to issue requests excessively or repetitively, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee to compensate for the administrative costs of complying with the request.
