Sizing & Fit

How Tripulse activewear fits and how to find your size, based on our sizing guidelines.

How does Tripulse sizing work?

Tripulse activewear follows standard XXS–XXXL European sizing, and most pieces fit true to size.

Each product page includes specific fit notes, and our Size Guide provides detailed body measurements to help you choose with confidence.

We highly recommend to measure yourself in line with our size guide, especially for first-time customers. We offer measurements in inches and centimeters to cater for customers globally.

If you’re unsure, you can always reach us at care@tripulse.co for personal guidance.

What if I'm between sizes – how do I choose?

If you're between sizes, choose based on how you like your fit.

Generally speaking, size down for a more sculpted, compressive fit. Size up for a little more room.

When in doubt, check our Size Guide and measure yourself carefully for the most accurate fit.

How do I measure for a sports bra?

Without a bra on, measure your full bust at the widest point and your underbust just below the chest.

If you're between sizes, size up for a more comfortable fit or size down for a more compressive, tighter fit.

Always make sure you follow our Size Guide and reach out to care@tripulse.co in case you need further guidance - especially for first time purchases.

Product Details, Care & Longevity

How to wash, care for, and get the most life out of your Tripulse pieces.

What's the difference between the Original and Pro leggings and shorts?

Both use our signature TENCEL™ Lyocell. The difference comes down to weight, finish and feel.

Our Pro leggings are lighter, cooling, with a smooth feel and soft sheen. Perfect for hot yoga, hot climates, and sweaty workouts.

Our Original leggings are denser, with a matte finish and slightly more supportive and compressive fit. A versatile all-rounder from studio to high intensity to street.

Both are squat-proof and most models are available in 25" and 27" lengths.

Do the sports bras have padding or inserts?

Tripulse sports bras include a discreet inner opening for optional inserts.

On their own, they provide balanced low-to-medium support. Add inserts for a more structured feel.

How do I wash and care for Tripulse activewear?

Simple. Wash cold (max 30°C) with mild detergent and air dry. Avoid tumble drying and fabric softener.

Our TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric naturally stays fresher for longer, so washing less and airing between wears is often enough.

Always check the care label on your Tripulse garment for product-specific instructions, or visit our TENCEL™ care guide for full details.

Will it shrink or lose shape?

Our 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell tops may shrink slightly after the first wash, typically around 2-5%, if at all. Our leggings and bras with added ROICA™ stretch tend not to shrink when washed and dried according to our TENCEL™ care guide.

In our customer survey, 94% rated fit and shape retention after repeated wear and washing as very good.

Can I put my Tripulse TENCEL™ activewear in the dryer?

We recommend air drying. Avoid the tumble dryer as it can harm the fabric. Air drying helps preserve the fiber's softness, shape, and quality and prolongs the longevity of your natural fiber pieces.

How long does Tripulse natural fiber activewear last?

Tripulse activewear is built to last. Advanced natural fibers, considered design and rigorous testing ensure every piece holds its quality and performance for years.

Many of our customers are already wearing and loving their Tripulse activewear for years. It is important though that the product care guidelines are being followed to ensure a maximum lifetime.

Performance, Comfort & Feel

How Tripulse performs during workouts, how it feels on your skin, and how it compares to synthetic activewear.

Does natural fiber activewear really perform as well as common synthetics?

Yes. With the right fiber and construction, natural activewear can surpass synthetics.

Plastic fibers like polyester and nylon are commonly associated with performance. But compared to some natural fibers, they actually trap heat, hold odor, and depend on chemical treatments to function.

That's why we use advanced botanical fiber TENCEL™ Lyocell and a touch of clean ROICA™ stretch on pieces that need it, like leggings and sports bras. TENCEL™ naturally excels at breathability, temperature regulation, and odor resistance, requiring fewer washes than synthetics.

How do I know Tripulse products actually perform as claimed?

We test in real conditions, with the people who wear them.

Every piece goes through rigorous quality testing at production, then refined through repeated wear and feedback from our community of customers and professional instructors.

We track how pieces perform over time and share the results openly.

On top of that, our 45-day Performance Guarantee allows you to test Tripulse the way it’s meant to be worn, in motion and daily life.

If you experience a genuine performance issue, you can return your item for store credit.

Can I wear Tripulse for higher-intensity, sweatier workouts like HIIT, running, or hot yoga?

Yes. Tripulse is built for the sessions that test you.

Our advanced natural fibers manage heat and moisture as intensity rises, so you stay cool and comfortable during every workout.

We also add supportive stretch, secure waistbands and technical seams to keep everything exactly where it should be.

89% of our community rated breathability as excellent during high-intensity training.

Does TENCEL™ Lyocell activewear smell after workouts compared to polyester?

No. Our TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric manages moisture naturally, which helps prevent odor from clinging the way it often does with polyester or nylon.

82% of our customers wear their pieces multiple times before washing, even after intense training.

Simply hang your pieces to air dry, and they’re ready again the next day.

Do Tripulse leggings provide enough compression?

Yes. How much depends on the style you choose.

Our Original leggings are denser and more compressive with a sculpting finish. Our Pro leggings offer lighter compression with a barely-there, second-skin feel, for those who prefer a less structured feel. Both include a touch of clean ROICA™ stretch for support and freedom of movement.

In our customer survey, 94% rated fit and shape retention after repeated wear and washing as excellent.

Are Tripulse leggings squat-proof and non-see-through?

Yes. Tripulse leggings are carefully constructed to stay opaque as you bend and stretch, while still feeling soft and weightless on the body.

Unlike some natural fabrics like organic cotton and merino wool, sheerness is not an issue.

How does Tripulse activewear handle sweat – and will it show?

Tripulse activewear is made with a special composition of advanced botanical fiber, TENCEL™ Lyocell, which quickly absorbs and releases sweat away from the skin.

Unlike cotton, which can feel heavy and damp as intensity builds, our TENCEL™ fabric stays dry, light and comfortable.

In lighter shades, some moisture may be visible during vigorous workouts. For high-sweat activities, we recommend darker tones.

Is Tripulse activewear suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Tripulse is designed to feel gentle on sensitive skin. Our clean, smooth natural fibers manage moisture and minimize friction, two of the main triggers for skin irritation during movement.

All fabrics, trims, and dyes are OEKO-TEX® certified and tested safe for skin-close wear.

We have lots of customers who previously suffered from skin irritations when wearing polyester or other synthetic-based activewear and who no no longer suffer from these irritations when wearing Tripulse. Read more here.

In our latest community survey, 98% experienced zero irritation.

Which Tripulse leggings are best for HIIT, running, or intense workouts?

All our leggings are built for high-intensity training and stay secure as you move.

If you prefer a lighter, cooling, barely-there feel, choose Pro leggings.

If you prefer more structure, compression, and a denser feel, choose our Original leggings.

Pro leggings are ideal for sweatier sessions and warmer climates. Original leggings are our most versatile leggings and work best for moderate-sweat indoor training as well as for runs and workouts in moderate to cooler temperatures.

Will Tripulse leggings show cellulite or lumps?

No, though lighter shades can show a little more. For total confidence, opt for darker tones. Our Original leggings offer a slightly thicker, more opaque finish than the Pro.

Can I wear Tripulse in cold weather?

Yes. Our TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric naturally regulates body temperature, keeping you warm when it's cold and cool when it's not.

For colder conditions, our LUX Long Sleeve and Original leggings are the perfect pairing. Both make ideal winter base layers, with the Original's denser fabric providing extra warmth and structure.

Materials, Health & Safety and Sustainability

What Tripulse is made from, why we use TENCEL™ Lyocell, and how we ensure skin safety and responsible production.

What is TENCEL Lyocell and why did Tripulse choose it?

TENCEL™ Lyocell is an advanced botanical fiber made from responsibly sourced, certified wood pulp. It is considered the purest and cleanest form of TENCEL™, even compared to TENCEL™ Modal, and one of the highest performing natural fibers available. Plastic-free, toxin-free, and genuinely better for your skin. That's why we use it in all our activewear.

Learn more in our TENCEL™ Lyocell guide.

Is Tripulse 100% plastic-free and natural?

Our tops are made entirely from TENCEL™ Lyocell, even down to the thread. For leggings and bras, we add a touch of ROICA® stretch – a cleaner alternative to conventional elastane.

You won't find polyester or nylon in our fabrics. Ever.

Learn more in our guide to plastic-free activewear and elastane.

Is Tripulse free from PFAS, BPA, phthalates and other toxins?

Yes. All Tripulse pieces are OEKO-TEX® certified and independently tested, confirming they are free from PFAS, BPA, phthalates, and other harmful substances. We also follow strict EU REACH safety standards.

Learn more about our clean materials and certifications.

Does TENCEL™ Lyocell shed microplastics?

No. TENCEL™ Lyocell is made from pure certified wood fibers, not plastic. It doesn't shed microplastics during wear or washing.

Where is Tripulse manufactured and what certifications do you have?

Tripulse activewear is designed in Sweden and made in Europe.

Each piece is crafted in our GOTS-certified factory in Portugal. Our materials and partners meet OEKO-TEX® and REACH standards, ensuring every fiber, finish and trim is certified clean and responsibly sourced.

Learn more about our supply chain on our Sustainability page and materials page.

What chemicals are used in making and dyeing Tripulse activewear?

TENCEL™ Lyocell is our signature fiber and is made using a single non-toxic solvent, NMMO, of which 99.8% is recovered and reused in a closed-loop process.

TENCEL™ naturally performs without chemical finishes, so no toxic treatments are needed.

We use water-based dyes, and all materials, dyes and finishes are independently tested and certified by OEKO-TEX® free from harmful substances.

Learn more on our Materials & Trims page.

Are your products vegan?

Yes. All Tripulse products are completely vegan. We don’t use any animal-derived fabrics, dyes, or trims.

What kind of stretch is ROICA™, and is it safe?

ROICA™ is an advanced stretch fiber developed by Asahi Kasei as a cleaner alternative to conventional elastane.

Tripulse uses ROICA™  V550 or recycled ROICA™ EF. Both are OEKO-TEX® certified for skin safety. V550 is also Cradle to Cradle Certified® (Material Health Gold) and designed to biodegrade.

How does TENCEL™ Lyocell compare to merino wool or cotton for activewear?

All three are natural fibers, but neither merino wool nor cotton handles heat, sweat, and high intensity as well as TENCEL™ Lyocell.

TENCEL™ carries stronger sustainability credentials and is cleaner in production than most standard merino wool and cotton.
