I work out to keep my body healthy. So why was I wrapping it in plastic?

That question took me years to ask, and answering it changed the course of my life.

Before I started Tripulse, I worked in the tech industry. But my real, lifelong passion was nature and clean, healthy living. Over the years, I paid closer and closer attention to what I ate, what I put on my skin, and what I brought into my home. Living in Sweden, surrounded by nature that felt pure and untouched, only sharpened my appreciation, and made me protective of it.

The other passion was movement. I've trained for as long as I can remember: running, basketball, high-intensity training, yoga, and much more. Movement has carried me through every hard season and every big leap, and I've always felt its benefits on my body, my mind, and my overall wellbeing.

I wanted to make it my life's mission to work on something that actually mattered, that helps protect our health and our planet, and combined my passions.

So I left the tech world to build something I truly believed in and that the world needed.

Activewear became the obvious choice, because I, like so many people, practically live in it - and fashion is one of the dirtiest industries which urgently needs fixing.
Activewear was also something that had quietly nagged at me for years: rashes, irritation, a low-grade discomfort I'd always ignored, believing it was the price of performance. When I finally looked closely at the composition labels, every piece told the same story: polyester, nylon - plastic. Fabrics that shed microplastics with every wash, often treated with harmful chemicals I didn't want anywhere near my skin.

I was working out to be healthy, but wrapping myself in the opposite. That felt absurd.

I went looking for a natural alternative that could actually perform, and hit a wall immediately. It was always the same compromise I had to make: activewear that performs but fills your body with chemicals, or natural options that are clean but can't keep up with a real workout. I couldn't accept that those were the only two choices.

So I built a third way - a new way. Tripulse was born in 2019, when almost no one was talking about plastic in activewear. Made from advanced botanical fibers, certified toxin-free, engineered for skin comfort and real breathability, and an end to the discomfort and irritation I'd live with for so many years. So that you and I no longer have to compromise.

Thank you for caring and for creating a healthier way to move together with us.

With gratitude,

Franziska
